Useful Information

Research areas

We conduct research across numerous fields including automotive systems, energy/process technology, manufacturing technology, mechatronic systems and product development as well as in medical and production/automation technology.

Network - regional and international

We also carry out our research projects in cooperation with external partners. These include commercial enterprises, municipalities, universities and other research institutes - nationally and internationally.

PhD

The faculty offers young scientists the opportunity to pursue a cooperative doctorate.

Quality teaching

Research and teaching have a positive influence on each other: the academic debate on innovative teaching creates new teaching methods. This is of great benefit to our students.
